Our company heads, Mark Libratore and Robert J. Davis, have a long history of successfully establishing and growing businesses. They are backed by their financial strength and more than 40 years of experience in the industry.

Mark Libratore, Founder and CEO

Liberation LLC

Mark has more than 30 years of health care experience and is the founder and former CEO of Liberation LLC, a Florida corporation. He also serves as a consultant to, and investor in, several private and public companies. From 2007 to 2016, he founded and served as CEO and president of Liberator Medical Holdings, Inc. (LBMH, New York Stock Exchange), which was acquired by C.R. Bard.

Liberation Business Development

Currently, he is the founder and CEO of Liberation Business Development. The firm acquires and operates select companies in the consumer products industry, and is focused on sporting goods.

Since its inception in May 2018, the company has made two acquisitions in this space since the company’s inception in May 2018. These are Charlie’s Worms, a bass fishing and saltwater products company and Rite Angler, a nationwide distributor of fishing tackle.

Liberty Medical Supply Inc. and PolyMedica Corporation

Mark founded Liberty Medical Supply Inc. in 1990 and served as its president and CEO. He sold the company to PolyMedica Corporation (PLMD, NYSE) in August 1996, and remained as president of Liberty Medical Supply Inc. and vice president of PolyMedica until February 1999.

A Action Medical Supply, Inc.

Prior to Liberty Medical Supply Inc., Mark founded A Action Medical Supply, Inc., which was the basis for Liberator Medical Holdings. Before that, Mark started a successful home medical equipment company, Ambassador Inhalation and Respiratory Services Inc., which grew to multiple locations in Florida and was acquired by Foster Medical.

Other Positions Held

Earlier in his career, Mark worked at several hospitals in Connecticut and Florida. He founded the Cardiopulmonary Department at Jupiter Hospital, serving as its director. Mark has served multiple terms on the Palm Beach Board of the American Lung Association, Hospice of Martin, and various other associations.

Accolades

The April 1998 issue of Response Magazine voted Mark as one of the Top 25 Most Innovative Direct TV Advertisers of the Year. In 2010, he was the recipient of the Florida Governor’s Business Diversification Award in Business Expansion.

Education and Licenses

Mark is a graduate from the Hartford Hospital School of Allied Health, Respiratory Certification Program. He has held or been responsible for licenses in clinical laboratory technology, respiratory therapy, diabetes education, pharmacy, and cardiopulmonary technology in Florida, as well as state licenses for home medical supply in 36 states.
